ETA 2834-2 caliber: dimensions and drop-in group

Used in: the panoramic day-date member of the 2800 family, with the weekday at 12.
A day-date caliber that carries the day window at 12 rather than 3, which enlarges its overall diameter to 29.00 mm. It is not a drop-in for a 2836-2 case: the different day-wheel and larger diameter need their own case and dial.
Drop-in group: 11 1/2 ligne day-date, day at 12 (29.00 mm x 5.05 mm). Matching diameter and height is necessary but not sufficient. A donor is only a true drop-in when the dial-foot positions, hand-hole sizes, stem length and calendar layout also match. Two movements can share a case and still need a new dial, re-broached hands or a cut-to-length stem.
