Miyota FS00 caliber: dimensions and drop-in group
The published footprint of the Miyota FS00 and which movements share it.
Used in: a Japanese quartz chronograph module, an alternative to the Ronda 5030.D.
A quartz chronograph at 28.60 mm x 4.85 mm with sub-dials and a date. It competes with the Ronda 5030.D on size but has its own sub-dial layout, so their dials are not interchangeable.
Drop-in group: Miyota FS quartz chronograph (28.60 mm x 4.85 mm). Matching diameter and height is necessary but not sufficient. A donor is only a true drop-in when the dial-foot positions, hand-hole sizes, stem length and calendar layout also match. Two movements can share a case and still need a new dial, re-broached hands or a cut-to-length stem.
