Donor movement for the Ronda 505
Which movement drops into a Ronda 505 case, and what has to match beyond the footprint.
Drop-in available. The Ronda 515 shares the Ronda 505 footprint (25.60 mm x 3.10 mm, centre seconds, date at 3, small seconds sub-variant) and is the standard donor.
The Ronda 505 sits in the Ronda 11 1/2 quartz three-hand (25.60 mm) group. The Ronda 515, Ronda 513S, Ronda 6004.B share its casing diameter, height and calendar layout, so a case and dial built for the Ronda 505 accept them with the correct dial and hands.
Matching diameter and height is necessary but not sufficient. A donor is only a true drop-in when the dial-foot positions, hand-hole sizes, stem length and calendar layout also match. Two movements can share a case and still need a new dial, re-broached hands or a cut-to-length stem.
