The ETA 2893-2 is the GMT member of the 2892 family, base for many caller-GMT travel watches. The Miyota 9011 is a 90-series premium automatic with a 24-hour sub-hand and no date.

They differ in diameter (25.60 mm vs 26.00 mm), height (4.10 mm vs 3.90 mm), calendar layout (centre seconds, GMT 24h hand, date at 3 vs centre seconds, no date, 24h sub-hand). A 2892-A2 with an added 24-hour hand for a second time zone at 25.60 mm x 4.10 mm. The extra GMT train and hand mean it needs a GMT dial and hand set; its drop-in donor is the Sellita SW330-1.

Matching diameter and height is necessary but not sufficient. A donor is only a true drop-in when the dial-foot positions, hand-hole sizes, stem length and calendar layout also match. Two movements can share a case and still need a new dial, re-broached hands or a cut-to-length stem.
